Description:
AutoHotkey is a free, open-source scripting language for Windows that allows users to easily create small to complex scripts for all kinds of tasks such as: form fillers, auto-clicking, macros, etc.It is particularly useful for creating key bindings to enter characters, for instance I have used it personally to create keystrokes for bullet points, double dashes and smiling face Emoji's.
The software has a rating of 4 as the background keystroke commander, that which allows you to see keystroke codes, can be a little bit fiddley. It is not necessary to be able to use it to get the full enjoyment you can, it just makes looking up obscure keystrokes difficult.
